In the Marae context, atea is the space, the domain, where motives are scrutinised and propositions debated. This is a new space to explore with others what New Zealand identity looks like. Te Kura Houatea o Niu Tiireni. Te Atea Hou, ATEA College. We assert the Treaty of Waitangi as the foundation of Kiwi identity.
